can代表猜测,没有什么把握,所以第一个空格是can,这个楼主应该没有疑问的.
must代表非常肯定,不是很确信的肯定是may.
楼主肯定看到了第二个空格后 I'm not sure,觉得既然不是很确信,应该may呀
其实这里考你的是but,but代表后面想表达的是前面的否定.
后面 I'm not sure,那么否定前面什么呢,只有否定前面的must be,否则前面也是不确定may be,后面也是not sure,没必要要什么but.
我看了楼下一些说老师肯定错的回答,怎么说呢,这是中国学生通常常见的一个习惯,就是Chinese English,用中文的习惯来分析这个案例,因为but只有三个字母,很容易被忽视.
