由搭配决定的.你不知道搭配什么你就这样拆开来看,你看我们平时说 I was born in the place,这里的which 就是代替前面的place的.
第二个reason你可以死记.反正reason当先行词不是用why就是for which.语言的东西也不一定要抠个是非所以来吧,知道这样说就行了,死背又不难.

发现你可能不是很理解定语从句（上课是不是没听?）,我来给你说一下,其实就是用一个句子来做定语,定语就是修饰名词用的.比如a red apple,red修饰apple,red就是定语,这里的定语是一个单词,那么句子也可以做定语,句子就叫做定语从句但是当句子做定语时,这个定语要放在名词之后,比如给这个句子加个定语从句,原句是 I like apples.用这个句子做定语：Apples are sweet.句子在修饰apple对吧.然后放在原句后面,那就多了一个apple出来,所以这时候把从句的apple改成which,叫关系代词嘛,既然是代词,代替的就是前面的apple,就叫先行词.所以你以后看见which,就把他当成前面的先行词,然后该怎么搭配还是怎么搭配.

那个介词取决于被修饰的先行词，一般和先行词搭配什么介词，就用什么介词。
